It Was Biblical Before It Was Political
At CFIE, we strive to honor God in integrity, honesty, and transparency. We are dedicated to serving Reno County by connecting churches to their local, state, and national leaders.
Bible-Believing Christians
We are committed to furthering the Gospel through our influence and engagement in our communities.
Faithful Church attenders
We strongly believe in the role of the local church and the pastors who shepherd the local body of Christ.
Concerned Citizens
We are mothers, fathers, teachers, students, and pastors who live and work in this community and are directly impacted by local elections, just like you.
Proponents of a Biblical Worldview
We strive to align our beliefs and actions with the Bible and we acknowledge it as truth that is applicable to every area of life.
Our Duty
“Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.”
Christians have a God-given duty to stand up for truth in the culture, including the political sphere. To the detriment of society, we have been silent far too long. CFIE strives to remedy this problem by coming alongside believers and equipping them with the tools necessary to positively engage in politics for the cause of Christ.
Putting the “Why” in CFIE
While politics are incredibly important, at the end of the day being an informed citizen should not be the end goal of our lives. Politics are a vital means to end, but if it ever becomes the end in itself, the ultimate mission of this organization has failed.
Just like the Founders, biblical truth is our “why” in this life. If you take away nothing else from this organization, we pray that the following three points will lead you to securing your place in the eternal kingdom of Christ. It’s the most important step you could ever take.
The Gospel
- You are a sinner, which means you’ve said, done, or thought something that goes against God’s perfect standard (Jeremiah 17:9; Romans 3:23). Every one has broken God’s law, an action which demands the kind of justice that only death can satisfy (Romans 6:23). Everyone is also born separated from God with no hope of doing enough good works to gain God’s favor on our own (Isaiah 64:6).
- You need a Savior. Your sin demands a perfect substitute who can take your place and pay the payment of death that you deserve. Jesus, because He is 100% God yet 100% man, was the only one eligible to pay the eternal price necessary to exchange justice for grace (John 3:16-17; John 14:6). He lived a sinless life and was murdered on the cross before rising again three days later, defeating death and the grave forever because of His great love for His creation (John 11:25; 2 Corinthians 5:21; 1 Peter 3:18).
- You have to consciously choose to accept Jesus (Romans 10:9-10). There is no special prayer you have to pray, place you have to be, or person you have to talk to in order to surrender your life to Christ (Acts 16:30-33). He meets you where you are but never leaves you there as He continues to shape and mold you into the image of Himself (John 8:11; Hebrews 12:6-11; 1 John 1:9).
